Stephan Mouton -Stephan has 20+ years of industry experience. Stephan started his career in Lafayette, Louisiana with Baker Hughes as a Field Engineer working deep water and shelf Gulf of Mexico and advanced through the engineering ranks. After his time with Baker Hughes, he relocated to Midland, Texas and worked for BTA Oil Producers as a Production Engineer. In 2007, he left BTA to join BOPCO LP as a Petroleum Engineer for the New Mexico Asset Team. Here he worked the beginning of the horizontal BoneSpring, Avalon and Lower Brushy Canyon horizontals as well as the deep Morrow and Atoka gas formations.

Stephan joined Reliance Energy as the Sr. Operations Engineer after his time at BOPCO LP. At Reliance, Stephan engineered all vertical and horizontal well designs to keep current with a 6-rig drilling program over the course of a 4-year period. In 2013, Stephan joined Terrace Petroleum in Midland, Texas as the Engineering and Operations Manager. There, he was instrumental in the development of a new company, PT Petroleum. At PT Petroleum, Stephan managed all horizontal drilling, completions, and daily operations for 2 separate developmental projects in the Midland Basin. Stephan has extensive experience in the Bakken, Wolfcamp, Morrow, Atoka, Spraberry, and Clearfork. Stephan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University. He is a member of SPE and AADE.
